I chose The Snow Globe Family by Jane O'Connor - I liked this book a lot! I would LOVE to live in a snow globe! You could have snow all the time. I liked the babies in this book too. Oh, and the sparkly cover!

What a fun night! We were asked to help with the UNITED TOUR last night - Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith concert. We got to hand out Show Hope packets, help "man" the tables and Chloe's favorite part???? Play with Emily (Steven C.'s daughter)!! In Chloe's words, "I LOVE her. And I want to send her a picture!"

AND we got to meet Emily's Dad too! Again in Chloe's words, "He's a nice Dad with a nice girl!"

Book Review - Adoption Title

We found a new book we LOVE - it's Lily by Keri Campbell. We have to share!! Chloe first: I liked this book because Lily is beautiful. There are lots of pretty pictures in this book. I think it should have been called "Chloe" because it is just like me!

Now for mom: I designed a blog months ago now for Keri and had no idea she was a writer. Her book is marvelous for adoptive families. It is the story of Lily and her family as they travel to China to adopt her. I sat and read it to Chloe with tears in my eyes as she said, "Oh, that's just like me, I liked steamed eggs too." "Mommy - she looks just like me." I love it and it is one we will treasure. Bonnie Lemarie's illustrations are fabulous! The best part?? This is going to be a series and we can't wait!!

Now on to our latest and greatest book!
There are Cats in this Book by Viviane Schwarz is our current favorite. Chloe has already asked that we NOT return it to the library! I asked her why she likes it so much and this is what she said: "I like to throw the ball of yarn to the cats. I like to play with the cats. I love it when they say, 'The cats aren't on this page!!'. This will make you laugh!"

Fancy Nancy

I LOVE the Fancy Nancy Posh Bedroom game! I like it because I win Mom a lot when I play the blue cards on her, and sometimes when Mom wins I get pretty sad. (She's laughing as she says this and then says "I like that part." Crazy kid!) It is my favorite game because I like to decorate Fancy Nancy's room. This game is stupendous - that's a fancy name for great!!!

BOOK REVIEW

We opened the mail yesterday and opened a box we had WON!!!! We won the new Llama Llama book which thrilled our souls.

Chloe wants to tell you about it:
Llama Llama Misses Mama is a good book because Llama goes to school. But he misses his mama. He is sad and wants her to come back. But it is good because Mama comes back! Then they are both happy. Llama liked school. I like school too! Oh yes, I think Anna Dewdney is pretty too. (That's the author in case you all don't recognize the name!)

I like the book, The Seven Chinese Sisters by Kathy Tucker and illustrated by MY FAVORITE - Grace Lin. I don't like it when the baby gets lost. I liked the book because they got the baby again when they saved her. The girls in the book are pretty - the tallest one is my favorite.

Hi - I'm Chloe - I convinced my mom that since everyone else in my family has a blog - I needed one too. I wanted to call it Chloe Rebecca Liang Princess Sparkles Bilby's Blog - since that IS REALLY my REAL name, but mom said that was too long. (Then she said something about how that isn't my REAL name - she doesn't know!!!)
